A stable MoBo?

Recommended Posts

Does anyone have any good recomendations on a good running motherboard with Windows 2K? Im currently running a DFI PA61 with a Pentium III 600, Annilater Pro, Live Plat.,and a DXR3 DVD decoder. The Via drivers seem to give me greif and dont run as stable as the Intel 440 chipset that I use to have. Any suggestions?

Thanks....

I'm using an Asus p3v4x (via apollopro 133a) with the latest via drivers and it's DAMN stable and smooth.

Not to mention supports those nice new features (agp4x/133mhz/udma66) etc.

It's cheap to boot

Supermicro are a good mobo get a duel Pentium and add another PIII 600 to go with the one you have and it will rock. If funds are tight you can always add another proccessor later as PIII's are now getting cheaper !!!

I can highly recommend the ABit BE6-II.

Very stable MB, and the ability to up the FSB settings 1hz at a time is excellent if you decide you wanna give O/C'ing a go.
