anisotropic filtering is optimized in 29.xx oposed to older version of dets, there are articles floating around prooving it.

my own two hands, if u know what ur doing the manual tweaks are the best(more control over every tweak u make).

probably your graphic card driver, try some other one( my recomendation 27.20, and 22.40) u can find em on various sites or www.warp2search.com as for sacrifice its a great game(get patch 3 from sacrifice site).

yes i tried some 8.xx(so so). Best in quality picture were 7.58:D

for me the best were 7.58, 10.80, 12.90, 22.40, 27.20(i use 27.20 one now)

Never experienced that, maybe it's your comp(not every comp responds equaly to same settings) and that would suggest that something is wrong with your instalation of os(maybe instaled progies....)or hardware, posibilities are endless. Also u need to have alot of memory to do this.

U have to change two reg settings, i tried it, i think it works just like conservative... I think from my memory it's disablePagingExecutive and LargeSystemCache (u put both 1)in [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management]. Can't remember if that's it(or something else, im always modifying something in registry) now but i have it written someware, i'll post it later !!!
