IE closes my windows...

Recommended Posts

I have noticed recently, that if I click on a link to something that is auto downloaded in IE 5.5, that it will auto-close the current window. This is extremely annoying when I lose my history, and have to find my way back to where I was. It doesn't happen if I right-click and d/l files. I'm not sure if this is related to IE 5.5, or Win2K, or something else, as I installed Win2K, and immediately upgraded to IE 5.5, and have installed all kinds of stuff since.

Lemme know,

It does suck! I also still have the scroll problem, where when I use my middle button to scroll down/up, it will continue to scroll for a looong time, even after I release the button, it sucks when I am scrolling along reading a story or such.

[edit]

I should note that this is not a constant problem, it just happens at rondom.

PS: My mouse is a Compaq branded Logitech Mouseman, with 3 buttons on top, and a thumb button [God, I love my thumb button].
