About Objects today announced the addition of four new licensees for its popular iPhone developer training courseware, joining existing licensees NTI Leeds and Intrinsic Development, both of the UK. The new licensees will help broaden the availability of About Objects Objective-C and iPhone courses in the US, UK, and Canada. Course coverage includes fundamentals of the Objective-C language and the Foundation and UIKit frameworks, including Xcode, Interface Builder, and much more.

 

Reston, VA - About Objects today announced the addition of four new licensees for its popular iPhone developer training courseware, joining existing licensees NTI Leeds and Intrinsic Development, both of the UK. The new licensees will help broaden the availability of About Objects Objective-C and iPhone courses in the US, UK, and Canada.

 

The new licensees are as follows:

 

Amsys, PLC, located in Kenley, Surrey, is the UK market's leading Apple Authorized Training Center, and is partnered with Apple to provide iPhone sales and technical briefings to UK enterprise customers.

 

NTI Birmingham is an Adobe, Apple, and Avid Authorized Training Center in Birmingham City Center in the UK that is including the About Objects iPhone Programming Workshop as part of a four-week Gamer Camp.

 

Go4Cast is an Apple Authorized Training Center in Port Saint Lucie, Florida that will be offering About Objects iPhone developer courses as the centerpiece of a State of Florida job retraining program.

 

New Toronto Group is an Adobe Authorized Training Center in Mississauga, Ontario that plans to add the About Objects iPhone Programming Workshop to its existing roster of courses in response to numerous inquiries from their current clients.

 

The new licensees will be offering the fastest-selling About Objects course, the iPhone Programming Workshop, and some will also offer another popular About Objects title, Objective-C Programming. These courses provide a way for developers to get up to speed quickly on the iPhone platform.

 

Course coverage includes fundamentals of the Objective-C language and the Foundation and UIKit frameworks, including the following topics: using Xcode, Interface Builder, and other Apple developer tools; working with classes, objects, methods, messages, and properties; memory management; handling touch events; working with Core Graphics and Core Animation; user interface controls; table views and navigation; storing and retrieving user preferences and data; dealing with web content; and working with the iPhone's built-in accelerometers, location services, and other features.
