Origins of The Laughman Collins, a school bus driver in Tennessee, rocketed to fame when he appeared as an audience volunteer at a huge comedy show in Pigeon Forge Tennessee. An on-stage microphone caught Collin's laugh and he brought the show to a standstill. The performers left the stage and the audience and Collins laughed for over 10 minutes straight. A Youtube video of the event, Dad at Comedy Barn would get over 18 million views and American media would dub Collins the man with "the most contagious laugh in the world." Collins has since been tested by MTV and in the feature documentary Laughology, a team of British Neuroscientists determined there was something unusual about Collins brain which makes him a kind of "human laughter feedback loop." Regular laughter has been shown to reduce the risk of heart disease and possibly increase human longevity.
