Clever Coding And Southwest Apps release Domino Domino iPhone app - Published on 05/13/09

IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Clever Coding the developers of the smash hit Paper Pilot iPhone app, in partnership, with Southwest App today are proud to announce the Domino Domino 1.0 for iPhone and iPod Touch. Domino Domino allows you to create endless domino lines, and what makes it even more exciting is the inclusion of stairs, bridges, slide, spiral stairs and slides and even a mouse trap.

Springville, Utah - Clever Coding, developers of the hit game Paper Pilot, in partnership with Southwest App, have just announced the release of their newest 3D iPhone application, Domino Domino. "We wanted to build a 3D game where the player creates their own 3D Domino Masterpiece, and then allow the user to watch their creation topple over from as many different angles as possible. This is a new genre for the iPhone. Allowing the user to create their own 3D environments and then give them the freedom to interact with them" said Clever Coding's President, Steve Moon.

The first thing users notice about Domino Domino is how fun and easy it is to make your own domino course. Users simply select the tool they wish to use from the toolbar on the top of their screen, then use their finger to draw the course exactly how they pictured it. For example, when using the "Follow" tool, users can trace a path on the phone, and the game will automatically place dominoes following their path. Users can also experiment with a variety of objects provided by the game to add style to their course.

Some of these objects include, spiral staircases, bridges, stairs and even a mousetrap that flings a ball at its own target domino. Steve also mentioned that more objects are on their way if the game is popular enough on the iPhone. Once users have built their course, they can choose how they want to watch their creation fall. If the users select manual camera mode, they can control the camera using the two "touch joysticks" provided.

This gives the users the freedom to fly through their course as it falls, allowing them to watch from almost any angle. If users select automatic mode, the camera will automatically follow their domino line step by step, and the camera will smoothly follow the path they have created. When automatic mode is unable to follow the path, for instance if your path splits in two directions, the game with immediately switch you to manual mode. Domino Domino hit the App Store on Monday May 11th, and promises to be one of the most engaging games available on the iPhone.
