sims 2 installation error

i used to be able to install The Sims 2 with no problem but because of my drive c running low on disk space, i uninstalled it. now i am having trouble installing it back. whenever i get to disc 3, an error message pops up.

note: i tried to install it using my friend's laptop and there was no problem! but when i tried to install it to my laptop, the error pops up again.

Idk what that is about but that happened to me once to I restarted my computer then it installed fine.

Idk whats wrong with my computer but every time i try to install my sims 2 to any computer it says "A problem has occured when trying to transfer the file TSData\Res\Sound\Voice5.package" from the media. I click the bottom retry but all it does is pop up again. It does that when it gets to 17% on my computer of the first disc. Can you please tell me what to do to fix that problem

That is weird.

I think the only way is to change another disc, or you can make it as a ISO file to have a try.
