Tikk 0 Posted June 15, 2006 hey, just curious what it meant when i don't have a release/renew button on my winipcfg? i know that if they are grey that means i'm setup with static,but not sure what it means if they are missing.... thx for your help Share this post Link to post

You can always use command line version of it: winipcfg /release and winipcfg /renew Consider upgrading Windows, if possible. 9x, 2000 (and soon XP with or without SP1) are not anymore supported by MS.
