Yanski 0 Posted July 25, 2005 Hi all, I have the above motherboard which has sound on-board (AC97) but Linux flat refuses to see it! I am running FC3 fully updated but I am seeing nothing. I can use my trusty Ensonic card but it will not see the on-board one. Anyone solved this or got any ideas? Cheers Ian Share this post Link to post
danleff 0 Posted July 25, 2005 I took a look around and came up empty handed. Apparently this is the Intel Azalia ICH6R chpset onboard. I would expect that drivers have not been fully developed yet for alsa. It is also not listed in the alsa web page sound card matrix. Sorry thatI could not be more helpful.
