Is it true

Recommended Posts

With Win2k if you decide to use NTSF that you can not go back to a Fat or any kind. It says in the manual it can not be reversed once it is done. I need to know if this is true or not. Or is there a way to go back other then buying a new harddrive.

You won't have to buy a new harddrive for that smile You'll just have to reformat it. What they meant is, once you convert to ntfs, you can't go back to fat without reformatting (and so losing all you data).

I think there are some 3rd-party programs that will vconvert from NTFS to FAT, but I wouldn't trust 'em - just stick to NTFS.

That was the answer I wanted to hear!! They should explain it better in the manual. I do know how to format and Ghost. So that is perfect.
