    Win2000 Server - Backup probs.

Hi people... I have problems with NT Backup... I have 2 servers and the problems seems similar on both computers. One server has to backup some directories in a file and the second server has to backup the first backup (via network) and other directories on the storage tape (a Sony Dat). I have 3 problems... The 1st) Backups don't start in a schedule 'cause a report says "bad directory or missing directory" and these are the directory where are the .bks files (e.g. documents and settings\administrator\etc..\nt backup\ data\...) so I don't understand why the NT can't find it... The 2nd) Often the scheduled backup doesn't start (administrators restrictions?)...If I launch the interactive backup it works fine. Where is the "master" autorization to the AT command? I try to set it in the Scheduled Operations (I mind...I don't know the right translation Italian-English) and configured to Administrator with password but if I launch it works and if I wait for the schedule time it isn't. The 3rd) Once the dat backup doesn't start 'cause Schedule doesn't find the tape assigned to the day but instead it is in the dat... I have little (!) troubles, let me say... Any helps? Any ideas? Thans in advance (I mind, my engish is really "sucks"!!! )) ) Ciao, Gianfranco

    Unknown device (USB)

Hi, I installed an USB Logitech Camera under Xp and was functional (the setup worked fine and drivers are loaded) until I unplugged it (it is a photo-camera too) and the I plugged after the use. Now Ev'ry time when I insert the usb plug in my pc it finds only an "Unknown device" under the usb tree in Device Manager window. I know that is a "ghost" problem of the usb but someone (also with other devices) has an idea to stop the automatic (pnp) procedure to force manually the drivers for my camera. If I try to upgrade the drivers for the "unknown device" it doesn't works? Some help to solve this damn problem with usb pnp, please... (Other usb devices works fine, a modem and a hub e.g.) Thanks in advance, Gianfranco

Some ideas? Thank in advance... Sting

    Logitech Clicksmart 310 Usb

Hi, it's Sting. I've installed the webcamera above and there wasn't problem until I unplugged (it's a photo-camera too) and plugged to upload my photos to windows. When I've plugged the web in the usb, Win Xp found a "Uknown device" and not the previous driver (Usb Logitech Clicksmart 310)... I tried to reinstall all the software (Logitech), drivers are not loaded yet. Can you help me? I don't find the XP drivers on cd (or in the system) so I can't upgrade it... Thanks in advance (I mind, my english is poor),Bye, Sting
