  3. Thanks... But I still couldn't find the "disable sliding effect" check box. Would you mind to do a screenshot for me please? I searched the windows help, dig around all of the possible option menus in xp, installed and searched through the XPpowertoys...still no go... Actually if you don't wanna then it is ok...I can still live with it...Thanks alot AlecStaar
  4. As the topic says... Does anyone know how to get rid of the "sliding" effect occured everything when a new program starts in the start menu bar??? that seems pretty annoying...

    Acer SCSI scaner drivers

I have the same problem too...I guess we have to wait until the xp driver for the scanner is released....
  10. Yo everyone! I have an ACER 8*4*32 cdwriter and it works fine in Win2000. After I swtich to XP RTM 2600, I receive an error message "SCSI target error" at about 25% burning process from Nero Burn 5.5 <--- similar error message in Easy CD 5.0 too. This funniest fun is the burner uses IDE interface instead of SCSI, so what exactly is scsi target error?. Newest ASPI is installed and still no go........Anyone????
