I have the same problem but i have an asus gf3 8200v? That bios change will change my card to an nvidia bios and ill lose the asus extra's for my card right??

Using the 21.81 drivers and when i goto properties to change the gamma and color to brighten or fix color in games it wont stay?? Like for instance i want to higher gamma so i can see better in CS..Change settings and it dont work...I load diablo 2 and do it and it works??? The gamma changed worked b4 when i just installed the det 4's?? I also did that -3dfxgamma thing to the HL.exe... Seems to only work after i load D2 then i will stay?? Any ideas??

I read on the D2 site that the new patch limits fps or some ****??? i dunno....pissed... at wotk now so if i find a solution i'll repost..

Still cant get this to work??? I installed the 3.0 and new 3.5 versions.. I goto test or burn an image and the cache will goto 40% and drop to 1% and not burn a thing... Is this an Xp prob or a Harddrive swapfile thing or Vitural memory thing???? I need some steps to ck to see what other things to try to see if its the OS or my setup... Nero works fine...tried the install of DJ after the nero and installed the ASPI drivers for XP... Need help need to burn some DC games that are DJ files... (.cdi) files.

dood write to HD 1st... try to run a test b4 u burn//// also ck the burn speed... also defrag your HD that will cause a prob...

I installed diablo 2 and expansion..ran the video test and with my geforce 3 i ran the 3d (d3d) setup...Went online and change res to 800*600 and i average 30 frames...it jumps from 30 to 60 then sometimes to 6??? WTF?? If i play in single player i get 30 on average??? My geforce ddr 32 meg was better?? Changed all those video game settings like light,perspective and other crap.... Even changed video setting to 2d and same thing?? This setup should fly with a gf3..WTF Madonion runs fine (d3d) Quake and HL run fine (opengl) and fsaa or whateva isnt running.. Need help
