    New GTXP drivers 3.01 findings

Guys, just so there is no confusion, you have the right drivers, the 6 in 6.1 is a virtual rear channel that is supported, also the gtxp now supports the headphone jack as an extra speaker input (so I hear). It's just like how sblive's have upgradeable rom's, your not being jipped by hercules! the correct site is us.hercules.com and you can read about it there.

    Blue Screen

I too get that error message when playing games. My soundcard is a game theater XP, ther are new drivers coming out soon for it maybe it will help. In response to the guy who claimed he had a yamaha xg something rather, my gtxp came with a certificate stating something about yamaha xg, i don't know what it really means but my card is made by hercules, the fortissimo II is made by herc, and the yamaha xg is also related to the gtxp and possibly the fortissimo (I don't know much about it). So I believe that this crap is all related to poor drivers, hercules keeps very quiet about their driver development, hopefully you guys will get new drivers like I am soon too with the release of winxp.

    Pioneer 106s DVD =reboot!

I have a pioneer 106s dvd rom drive with winxp and when i nsert any cd/dvd into the drive it will reboot the system or shut it down automagically. I can fool it into not rebooting by first rebooting and popping in the cd at the bios screen, but that's a pain just to use any type of cd. My creative burner is working just fine apparently, but the dvd rom drive is being major ghey. I have the latest firmware for it (1.09) and I can't find windows drivers for it anywhere. Any sugg's?

    So Frustrating!!!!!

I am having the hardest time ever to get Windows Xp to work properly on our home network. The server is a Win2k box running an intel anypoint 10 mbps and cable connection. The client XP box has the same NIC, but if I install the intel anypoint software the entire OS dies on me. I decided to try something else like sygate, that bsod's the sceond i open a webpage. file sharing works just fine, but what is most important to me is internet sharing. Is there any internet sharing software that I can use or is there a workaround to getting ICS to work from win2k to winXP? this is driving me nuts!!!
