OK! i know 548k is nothing but i was wondering what was causing it??? so its fully normal then???

When i boot and the system i counting up my memory (BIOS says to 512Mb) it says 524288k (524288/1024=512Mb) and i got 512Mb of ram in my system 2x128 and 1x256 so far so good. But when i look in the system in Windows (w2k) it says 523740k why ??? 548k is missing its the same in Win98 it says 511Mb shouldnt i read 524288 in w2k and 512Mb in Win98 my system AMD TB 1,2GHz | 512Mb Pc133 | Asus A7V KT133 rev 1.02 BIOS ver 1009| Asus V7700 Geforce GTS2 | SB, Live 5.1 | Sony 12x/8x/32x | Pioneer 16x/40x Reg. i read in the Games Compability list that MW3 could work if register was imported from 98 "game installed in 98" to w2k or is ther any tool to use in w2k to make it work o can somone explain it to me in detail or submit a link how to do or a link to a some kind a compability tool im a newbi at these things

JIIIIHHHHAAAAAA! i fixed it it was the display driver all the time belive me i tried several versions but none worked so i vent up to Detonator 14xx that solved all my probs so im runnin Detonator 12.10 WHQL THX for all the help folks im very greatfull

nope didnt work those VIAs 4in1 idea got the same error my drivers are VIA 4in1 432 "i tried the 429" didnt work graphics driver are nVidias 1241 "had before 1290" the same errors upgraded my sound card but no isnt that either running DirectX8 havent upgraded it yet to 8,1 i tried also with or witout the patch but no i cant apply the patch 2,0 since i get error 036 that cause i have the nordic version of MW4 argh! cant understand why it runs perfect on the same mashine under Win98se with the same rev of drivers the two kind of errors i get see above STOP : this is isnt a database or i get a blue screen with something like this 0x0000001e (0XC0000005, 0XE21436AC, 0X00000001, 0X00000040) KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

you should disable disable the office scroll and set "the webwheel has a click function as well press it u see " as middle button then it should work good luck

there is a fix for this you may download it from Logitech gamepatch or fix its called "its a reg fix" it doesn matter what wersion of mouse drivers u use but you may also "if you are comfortable with the Windows register u can do the same changes there" this one i found from Logitechs homepage - Click the "Start" button on the Windows Desktop and select "Run...". - On the Open line, type C:\WINDOWS\REGEDIT.EXE and press [ENTER]. - From the Registry Editor screen, double click on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE. - Double click on SOFTWARE. - Double click on Logitech. - Double click on MouseWare. - Double click on CurrentVersion. - Single click on Technical and information should be displayed on the right side of the Registry Editor screen. - Under the Name column, double click on the "MouseHookDLLEnable" entry and the Edit String Dialogue box should appear. - Modify the Value Data line to read "0", and click the "OK" button - Exit the Registry editor (saving is automatic). - Restart the system. Your game software should now be able to properly use your Logitech Wheel/Roller. this should solve the probs u have "i had the same probs as u once"
