Hello all! I'm looking for a Pentium 4 motherboard with hardware raid support. (Non dual) I would like to be able to control the raid configuration from the bios. It will be used in a decktop pc and not in a server. Is this overkill?? Thanks in advance Yankee

I had a the same problem not to long ago. It was some kind of trojan running as a process. Pull up the task manager and check your running processes. If this is the case simply end the process and rescan. You should be able to delete it with no problem. Hope this helps Chris

How many watts is your computers PSU? Iirc the Radeon 9600 and 9800 series cards need a 350 Watt or higher rated power supply.

Does the problem occur randomly or only when you are trying to scan? Are your mouse and scanner connected via the USB port? I was thinking it could possibly be your power supply. Most of the newer ATI graphics cards need a 300watt+ power supply. Thrown in a couple of case fans, hard drives ect. and the power supply can eaisly become overloaded. Just my two cents worth. The Catalyst 2.2 is a display driver only. You also need to download and install the capture driver and multimedia center. As Mr.Guvernment suggests you should uninstall previous driver versions first. Install the new display drivers followed by the capture drivers, DVD player 7.6 and Multimedia player 7.7 I also recomend you check to make sure you have the latest version of DirectX installed.

If the same corporations who are now suing Miscrsoft would spend the same amount of time and money developing a superior product we would all benefit.

Have you also installed the Video Capture update for DX8? According to Microsoft ATI All-In-Wonder, VIVO, or TV tuner cards using MMC 7.1 or higher will benefit from the update.
