  1. Anyone know why this is happening? Worked before it just suddenly come up. BTW I dual boot to drives one XP the other 2K and both are NTFS partitions.
  2. I just installed Win2k over a previous installation of WinXP (Build 2600). When I try booting into win2k it's fine and working well but when I try booting into WinXP I get this error on boot. Windows 2000 could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: \windows\system32\config\systemd startup options for Windows 2000. Dunno why it refers to Windows 2000 when I'm trying to boot to XP. I tried repairing the bootsector with WinXP cd but that didn't fix anything. Any suggestions what I could do? Thanks in advanced.

omg installing ram req to format?

Quote: in your bios, try to set your clock rate down or use less agressive seting 3-3-3 instead of 2-2-2.. see if you still get a BSOD. and sometimes when it said its PC-133 RAM, it sometimes can't run at 133, specially those with generic brand name. Thanks that fixed it. It was CAS 3 instead of 2 but I got it exchanged to 2 again

omg installing ram req to format?

The ram isn't bad cause I just went back to the shop to test it. Is there any settings I must set in order to install the ram without getting the blue screen on boot?

omg installing ram req to format?

I just bought 512MB ram to replace my single chip 256MB. Couldn't believe it gave me a blue screen. Do I have to format just for ram? If so that's ridiculus

    Nero Buffer problem

Back when I was using Win2k nero 5.5.4.0 worked like a charm when burning cd's the buffer is always at 99% but after installing XP the buffer fluctuates (Goes down and up) And my Hard Disk also reads like crazy. Anyone know what's going on? BTW CD's burn fine but I feel I should fix this cause I don't want my hard disk to read all the time for nothing.
  7. There was an error message saying something about it not being able to write to my computer name. Am I suppose to install the win95/98 drivers for the printer on win2k or is there a way to install WinME drivers?
  8. I'm trying to get two computers (one running win2k and the other winME) to share the same printer HP DeskJet 930C. File sharing works fine. But I can't seem to share printers. When I tried installing additional drivers WinME wasn't there so I installed the Win95/98 drivers but it still didn't work. Any ideas? Thanks in advanced.
