Windows XP delay? Gotta love it!

What the ***&)*& with your "you don't have to buy it? Yeah you could "STEAL" it, how cool is that. Be proud of what a great image you give off of this board as a moderator and actually suggestion to steal products. Oh don't get me going, ~Jennifer 8)

    Disabling Product Activation

So it isn't like stealing a car,,ok. It is software and the OS isn't shareware, where you try and buy. You buy it, that is the way it goes and if you don't like that then you buy something else or don't or whatever. Anything else is illegal and that is the way it is right now. You want to change it then set about doing something to change the system until then this is what it is. As far as helping people on this board, it isn't like you go about saying ,," hey did you buy that software?" and then help them by whatever is the response. I understand this, we are just here to help regarding the OS. Now if you offer information regarding piracy this is where the discussion on how that isn't exactly ethical comes into play. I don't know but if I developed a piece of software and no one payed for it, that would suck and I would be upset. Let's say you could clone a copy of a Dodge Viper off your computer, why would anyone else buy a Dodge Viper if they could copy the copy of their buddies Viper,, putting Dodge Viper out of business because they couldn't make any money off the car. No next years model,,etc etc. If you can't obtain the software legally then you shouldn't have it.

    Disabling Product Activation

but no one answered my question,,why would a person "want" to disable the activation , it doesn't make any sense to me. You just run the activation and it goes away. Seems like more trouble to go de-activate it than just activate it. and a forum is what we as the users of the forum make of it. From my experience with this board the majority are people who aren't software pirates and not really friendly to those who do that kind of business. The software pirating crowd is not who this forum gears themselves to helping. Yes, it is good to help one another where we can in our area of expertise but who here wants to aid and assist theft? Unless of course that is your area of expertise. 8) ~J

  9. I loved this movie, the only thing that I wish I had some tissue instead of wiping my eyes with my popcorn oily napkin. Word on the street is you will either love or hate this movie.

    QFIXAPP?

I just surfed a bit about a patch for this game, I swear there is a patch somewhere for it, but my memory is foggy I must admit. here is what I found. _____________________________ here is the location....http://www.ubisoft.com/support/ -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rogue Spear 2.05 Patch (All Versions) All fixes/changes in the 2.04 patch The special keyboard keys (arrow keys, numeric keypad, etc.) can once again be remapped under non-English versions of Windows. Rogue Spear should now run under Windows2000. GameSpy support has been added. As part of this, the behavior of the "Announce Server" option has changed. If this option is checked, your game info is broadcast to the GameSpy master server. The server will no longer pause until the armpatch timeout has expired while waiting for clients who have armpatches turned off. Support has been added for users with multiple network connections to choose which connection to use for a multiplayer game. The problems with the "Lock Teams" option should be cleared up. The blank dialog that a client received when joining a full game should now display the proper message. Clients who disconnect during the loading sequence will no longer crash if they reconnect while the game is still in progress or in the results screen. The armpatch timeout was reduced to 30 seconds meaning laggy clients will not delay multiplayer game starts for more than that period of time. Clients that disconnect during the loading sequence will no longer delay the game start until the armpatch timeout has expired. Clients who disconnect and rejoin before a game starts will no longer delay the server until the armpatch timeout has expired. Hitting escape during a multiplayer loading sequence will no longer cause a hang or crash. ________________________________ I hope this helps.
