  1. I was having trouble with my AGP and I un-installed the Intel 82443BX PentiumĀ® II Processor to AGP Controller from my Device Manager. How do I add it back? Doing a search for new hardware does nothing. Manually installing hardware I cannot find this device. Abit BE6-II RV PII Celeron 200mhz 512mb RAM Asus 3800 TNT2 Ultra Highpoint 366 ATA66 Thanks, Mike

Windows 2000 Nvidia Reference Driver 5.30

I just iunstalled the 522 driver set on W2K for my Asus v3800 TNT2 Ultra. I saw that Asus released new drivers v3.84a for the V3800. Which should I use, the NVidia or the Asus? Thanks, Mike

Still more W2K grief... Abit and AGP

I have not overclocked the CPU. It is rated at 300mhz. What did you set your BE6-II BIOS for PnP OS. Is your Computer setting ACPI in device manager? This should have been a easy install, but has lasted over 2 weeks. Thanks, Mike
  4. I have installed (after numerous tries) W2K server. I still cannot get my AGP contoller to install. When I boot I get "Finding new hardware... PCI to PCI bridge". It then tries to install the AGP controller and I get device failure. My Computer setting in device manager is ACPI PC. I have: Abit BE6-II Celeron 300mhz 512mb RAM ATA66 installed Asus V3800 with Nvidia 522 driver patch How do I get my AGP controller installed...?? Is this a BIOS problem or a video card driver problem... or what?? Thanks, Mike

    AGP Controller install failure

I just noticed that Asus released drivers for the V3800. I was wondering are those better than the Nvidia drivers?

    AGP Controller install failure

Do I download the TNTW2KE.exe self extracting or the W2k-522.zip file?

    AGP Controller install failure

I recently installed W2K (through numerous, numerous installs and re-installs). I think I got it right... but.... I get an AGP Controller failure. In the device manager it had a ! beside it. I removed the device and re-boot. The hardware wizard says "Trying to install PCI to PCI bridge". Then it comes up with a dialog box saying the AGP controller could not be installed... Device failure. The video card does work (although I have not tried it under any games, etc). I am using: Abit BE6-II ATA 66 - highpoint Asus V3800 TNT2 video (MS drivers) Quantumn Fireball 8bg FAT32 C: Maxtor Pro 20gb NTFS D: D-Link 10/100 580x US Robitics V90. Surprisingly the network card, the modem and the ATA 66 use the same IRQ - 11. But they all seam to work fine. I think I do not have any free IRQ's left. Mike
