  1. I installed Win2kpro on an abit bp6, 2 HDs, 1 CL 6424 ide burner, and 1 pioneer DVD 104s. I had all this running perfectly for a couple days. I installed adaptec easy cd creator deluxe 4.02 and it did not work at all (?) so I removed it and installed Nero 5.0.0.3 demo. I removed the wnaspi.dll from the Nero directory. I started it and burned a CD flawlessly. I then tried to read the CD and to my surprise, not only was the burner not listed in Explorer, but neither was the dvd drive. Device Manager listed an error for each drive stating that something they depended on was not working. Reboot, no luck. Remove nero, no luck. Uninstall/reinstall the drives, no luck. Boot the system in Win98se (dual booting) and the drives are fully functional. Any suggestions?
