    Tiger Woods 2001

Yeah, I saw that article too. Although interestingly it seems that TW2000 works on W2K even though it says here on the NT Compatible website that it does not. Does that mean the behaviour was corrected over time? Could the same be possible for TW2001? Has the new App Compatibility Kit been released yet? Thanks again, Lothario P.S. I have TW99 and it works fine on W2K. That's just sick. [This message has been edited by Lothario (edited 08 January 2001).]

I can't believe that's the answer. With all the expertise on this forum, tons of utilities, tools, and patches. TW2001 just "doesn't" work? The fact is, the software doesn't crash, it's making a purposeful check to see what OS it is running under. Then it fails. I thought that Win95VersionLie would byp*** that but seemingly not. Any other ideas? Please? Lothario

Has anyone here installed TW2001? When I try to install it I get the error message "TW2001 does not currently run in Windows NT". I've tried QFixApp with Win95VersionLie but that did not work. Has anyone else had any success? Thanks for your help. Lothario

Sound Blaster Live! and My Microsoft Joypad...

Yeah I have both a sidewinder gamepad and a precision pro. Both work fine in w2k. What I can't seem to do is daisy-chain two gamepads together. Any ideas? Lothario

Microsoft Sidewinder Gamepad drivers and/or SBLive!

I actually had heard that before. What I'm more curious about is why daisy-chaining worked perfectly with my MX300 (produced by the now defunct Aureal) and not with my "bleeding-edge" Creative Labs X-Gamer. Does anyone have daisy-chaining working with an SBLive? (i.e. two MS Sidewinder Gamepads) Thanks for you help, Lothario
  6. Does anyone know where I can find the MS Sidewinder driver software version 4? I've heard that this works under W2K (unlike 3.02). If you know where I can find this, please post a link. Your help would be much appreciated. On a side (or perhaps central) note. Does anyone have two sidewinders daisy-chained together that work with and SBLive in W2K? This used to work perfectly for me with an old Diamond Monster Sound MX300 but with my new X-Gamer it doesn't work at all. Now I can only use one joystick (daisy-chaining doesn't work at all). Has anyone seen this, and resolved it? Thanks again. Lothario.

    FIFA 2001

Hey Miku, I'm sorry to say that I have both SP1 running and tried with the Win95VersionLie.dll to no effect. It doesn't appear that either is the resolution to the problem. I am also running FIFA with the latest updates (using the auto-updater). You wouldn't happen to have any other ideas or suggestions would you? Lothario

    FIFA 2001

I've got an ATI Radeon 64 MB and FIFA crashes to the desktop for me after every game. I tried the QFixApp idea but that didn't appear to work. Anyone have any other ideas? Lothario
  9. I don't think that happens with CLabs cards only. My MX300 under W2K also suffered from server sound problems in ST: Armada. I still haven't figured out a way to fix this. Lothario.

MS Sidewinder Force feedback steering wheel

I have a Sidewinder gamepad and it get really jumpy when I go to the control menu too. As for that v4.0 of the Sidewinder software, where can you get that from? Please post it somewhere if you have it since the W2K drivers for Sidewinders suck like crap. Lothario.

nba live 2000 on windows 2000

NBA works for me on my W2K setup although all the in-game menus are screwed up (don't display at all). NHL and FIFA, however, do not work at all. I have GeForce DDR and single PIII. Lothario [This message has been edited by Lothario (edited 19 May 2000).]
