Try outlook express: Tools -> Options -> Messages -> Check for new mail every .. minutes

My sony writer (IDE) is being a weird tosser..It works fine with Nero 4 / 5 but when i start up CDrwin I get an error: Unable to initialize ASPI manager. ASPI manager not installed. Uhm how to fix this?

Rbarbier: Maybe you can post the link for them in here cause im unable to find newer BETA drivers than the normal ones in the V3 driver section. All i see is: Voodoo3 2000/3000 Windows 2000 Retail Drivers - AGP/PCI Boards Version: 1.00.00

Try AbsoluteFTP...various ftp deamons dont accept "fake" IPs Absolute seems to be the only one that works 99% of the time

Euro 2000: Install normally, overwrite euro2000.exe in your choosen directory with the one in the cd root. Works fine than. (got that tip from a diff user on the board, thnx for that one btw ) k7 650 k7m 1008 v3 3k

Will get those 4in1 drivers asap btw. those 4in1 are in the NT section and there is no mention of them in the win2k section..this aint a prob? update 2 : they wont run, installer aborts when it detects 2k Possible to install stand alone drivers? Very annoying problem I never really had in win9x: The cdrom refuses to read certain cd's that do work on other pc's (Intel based..) the cdrom itself is fine cause i placed it in a different pc (intel) and it worked fine with cds i cant run on my system (amd). Someone suggested changing the timeing of it. I changed PIO mode in bios from 3 to 2 but that doesnt seem to do much especially cause its on UDMA anyway. Im having a similair problem with the systray..It boots into the desktop at a decent speed but than it wants to load something it cant/wont... In event viewer i keep getting at bootup: ERROR: WinMgMt -------------- WMI ADAP was unable to load the winspool.drv performance library due to an unknown problem within the library: 0x0 Any ideas? Uhm EA's Euro 2k runs fine on win2k k7 650 k7m v3 3k sb live

Just installed it and it says "Not a valid win32 application" Looked it up in the list and it seems to work fine for someone on a geforce, which strikes me as odd...Is this gfx card related? Suggestions? V3 3k agp, win2k, v3 drivers installed (and yesterdays compatibility patch, btw i have no problem running HL whatsoever)
