Can anyone tell me how to get refresh rates higher than 60hz in opengl games like soldier of fortune? dont tell me to use powerstrip because i dont want to and it doesn't work. I have a tnt 2 with the 5.16 driver'

anyone using w2k notice that it needs more ram than win98 especially in unreal tournament

I have a Ms sidewinder force feedback wheel GAMEPORT VERSION. The software that came with it (ver 3.0) doesn't work with w2k. I tried installing the wheel in game devices in control panel and it worked. it detected it as a Ms sidewinder force feedback wheel and tested to be all right(all the buttons work). I can get force feedback but in games like nfs5 and rally championship when i go to configure my controls on the wheel it becomes reallly slow but once i go to another menu its all right. Also the force feedback seems to be not as good as win98. What im asking is, do i need the latest software for force feedback to work properly under w2k? The latest version that is on the microsoft site is 3.02. Will version 3.02 work with w2k pro and give good force feedback? If not, Where can i get the version 4.0? thanks

i have a MS Sidewinder Force feedback steering wheel and w2k pro. The sidewinder software doesn't work with w2k but i can install it in joysticks, control panel. The steering wheel works but im not sure, maybe the force feedback is not as good as win98. anyone with MS Sidewinder Force feedback steering wheel that can comment? is the force feedback as good in w2k or do i have to download the new software that supports w2k? thanks

My system: Celeron 466@525 Viper v770 tnt2 32mb W2k 64mb ram(yeah i know its not enough but im waiting for the memory price to drop). I was dissapointed with w2k because whatever i do, it runs games slower than win98. I tried the 375, 378, 384, and all the other drivers for my tnt2 but cant find one that's the same speed as win98. Until the 516 detonator driver was released. I tried it out and..wow..all my games like UT and Q3 runs the same speed as win98!!!!!! Other people with tnt2s please comment on this driver.

i have win2k pro and a diamond viper v770 tnt2. using the 3.78 detonator drivers quake3 runs about 4 frames slower than win98. Which drivers would be best for my tnt2? 3.83 or 5.13 or any other drivers? Is it a driver problem or is it a win2k problem? Should i keep w2k or win98?

If i dont plug a ps2 mouse in as well my ps2 keyboard does not work in win2k pro. Can anyone help? Also has anyone got the intellipoint software to work in win2k? I have a intellimouse explorer.
