I have the same problem ... low color for icons etc ... except that for me there are other problems all related to directx : I can't have the overlay work since I upgrade to the 5.13 drivers (quite annoying for the PCTV). I wonder if those drivers have modified something in the registry or have overwritten files needed by directX but what is sure is that our problem is a directx problem. There are a lot of people (really a lot) that have the same problem as ours. Many things have been tried and often they end with a reinstallation. ps1 : I'm under w2k. ps2 : of course I tried to downgrade to 3.* drivers but /dev/null

in fact I upgrade because I always upgrade to last version of drivers, softs etc ... (I know it's stupid in fact I tried to go back to earlier drivers but that doesn't work ... I think some stuff have been broken or some data hve been stored in the registry ... another thing quite strange ... I ve installed all the TNT2 drivers, but in the control-panel when I look at the driver tab : the version driver is always 3.69 whatever driver I install ...

Hi I have problems with TNT2 and PCTV: - at the beginning the studio PCTV v3 worked but was very slow because the soft couldn't use the overlay mode - after that with MoreTV (and drivers around 3.68 and 3.7*) it was just fine ... overlay etc ... - today I've installed 5.13 drivers and studio PCTV 4 ... it's f****** awful : * MoreTV don't work any more (error : "the graphic card can't create offscreendisplay") * during the test phasis with STudio PCTV it refuses to pass the overlay test (and so doesn't work at all) * strange thing : icons in the desktop are displayed with very few colors I ve been reading news for a while and many people are complaining about overlay etc ... but no solution do you have some advices ? (any values to force in the registry?) thanx

Hi I've got an INTEL USB camera (the camera pack) ... the drivers work well under w2k except that INTEL has not ported the soft to use it under w2k ... So I would like to find a soft which can access it and which can take snapshots ps : many softs like webcam2000 (http://www.1000klub.com/~loomer/webcam2000/)work but can't take snapshots bye
