Thanks for the reply(!!!), but all I get is a black screen, some hardware activity, and .... back to windows :-( Any ideas?

I have problem getting X-wing vs. Tie-fighter to start. It insists on installing DirectX drivers. If I follow the games installation of DirectX 5.0 (don't worry: not to the end) it claims that Direct3D is not installed. Using the DirectX Diagnostics Tool the Direct3D driver seems to work fine!. Any tips or tricks? I've checked the compatibility on www.ntcompatible.com and the only comment is that it some systems have problems with the intro. p-p-p-p-please help
