  1. I get a lot of noise when playing audio files and accessing an ide device at the same time on the MSI K7T Pro using onboard audio (Win2000). Does anyone know what could cause this and maybe how to fix it? Thanks!

    USB-to-IDE for W2k?

I have a DVD-drive in an IDE-USB case and want to connect it to a w2k machine but there only came win98 and DOS (?!?) drivers with it. Are there any generic IDE-to-USB drivers for w2k out there? TIA!

    UDMA66 and W2k

I just bought myself a new UDMA66+ capable HD (IBM) but cannot get it to work in UDMA mode in w2k. When I activate UDMA in the BIOS w2k reports it's working in PIO mode and when I disable UDMA in the BIOS w2k reports DMA mode. How can I get it working in UltraDMA? Does anyone have an idea? Hardware: IBM Deskstar UDMA66+ capable HD with 7200RPM connected to FIC VA-503+ MOBO (VIA MVP3 Chipset) with a UDMA66 cable (only drive on primary controller). Thanks!

    Unable to install VStudio 6.0?

When i fire up the setup the usual setup window appears but when i click to continue the windows closes and......nothing, that's it. any way to get around this?
  5. It seems the problem is the AGP driver for the MoBo chipset. ALI said they will post a working driver soon on their HP. My MoBo is the FA-503+ from FIC with a VIA chipset, so I've written them an e-mail asking for a new AGP driver but didn't get an answer yet. If you have the same problem I suggest you contact the manufacturer of your chipset also.

    Pinnacle PCTV in Win2K?

How do did you install the new 4.0 drivers? When i install them and reboot w2k just detects a "new" device and installs the old drivers again and the software just plain doesn't work because of the driver conflicts i guess. so how do i get rid of the old drivers and make w2k accept the new ones?

    Unbrowsable Network...sometimes

Go to the TCP/IP settings -> advanced -> DNS and disable "Register this connection's addresses in DNS". Then it should work.
  8. Why aren't these listed on the FIC site? I'm just wondering as there is no info included in the file. Maybe it fixes the problems i have with the newer nvidia drivers (just a black screen instead of desktop, this came with the agp-support in the drivers it seems)
