i have a gforce mx 400 when i try to play glqwcl it tells me some error about a glid file not found i have the newst version of the drivers for the card but i cant find an glid drivers

will it still look the same or close to it? by deleting that file i can play but it looks like it use to long time ago when i had no gl card way before my first monster card

when i try to install quake 3 on my win2000 machine it tells me quake3.exe is a none 32bit app or if i double click on setup.exe it gives me onther error (the application failed to intialeze properly 0x00000006,

when i get to pak0 it stops and wont continue

i use adaptec eazy cd creator deluxe 4.02 i noticed there was a update for windows 2000 i installed it system rebooted and now my cd rw icon has a x going through it and it dosnt allow me to use my cd rw but i can still play cd's off it just cant write to them or rewrite???

i have win2k and 98 se dual boot for about 2 weeks now, out of no where windows 98 wont shut down no more it will hang on the shut down screen but it lets me restart fine?

is there a way to edit the menu for the dual boot that shows when you first turn on your computer when you go to select microsoft windows 2000 or microsoft windows i would like to change it to microsoft windows 2000 and microsoft windows 98 when my mom or someone elese uses the computer 98% of the time they go into windows 2000

where are you finding the 3.5 at i select nt and 1200s or 98 and 1200s and it only brings up 3.1

OMG i dont belive what you just said, WINDOWS 98 is such a POS os to windows 2000, 1 windows 98 is slower then hell, 2 every 5 mins a illegal operation of some kind pops up mostly kernal32, i think if people do some more reading before they just install things they will be really happy with windows 2000, but most likely instead of going and finding out of something works under windows 2000 they just go ahead and install what ever program they want and then they get upset when it dosnt work or causes more problems once installed, all i have to say is DO SOME READING

where do you guys come up with some of this ****, OMG just hold down f8 after the award bios screen is done then go to command prompt and run it from there, worked for me dont see why it wont work for anyone else jeez reinstall win2k

when i go to device manager i have a ! symbole next to my keybard but it also shows onther keyboard with no ! sign the one with out the sign is MICROSOFT NATURAL KEYBOARD PRO the other one with the ! is STANDARD 101/102 KEY OR MICROSOFT NATURAL PS/2 KEYBOARD, TRYED UNINSTALLING ONE OR THE OTHER BUT THEY BOTH END UP REINSTALLING WHEN I RESTART

dont know, adaptec's web page said not to install under windows 2000 to they release there 2000 updates, but everything else works http://welcome.to/intelinside
