    PLEASE help with this problem!

Ok, for weeks I had a problem that I couldn't play any games or render any scenes in 3DSmax on win2k final. I thought it was a driver problem. Fact is, my V3 was overheating, so i got a GEForce today, and games work fine now! They WOULD work on the V3, they would just stop after 15-20 minutes, probably after it overheated. I have one problem now. And the error comes up every time I boot win2k. It comes up in the event log. It is as follows: "Configuring the Page file for crash dump failed. Make sure there is a page file on the boot partition and that is large enough to contain all physical memory. " This is in the ftdisk source. If I try and render a 3DSmax scene, it gives me a Machine Check Exception BSOD after about 15-20 frames. I have NO idea why. I am running a P3 550, 256 Megs of PC 100, and a Guillemot DDR-DVI. I think that it has to do with memory useage or something. I assume this is a problem I should fix. Can anyone help me PLEASE? Thanks

    3DSTudioMax and some games

I have version 1.00.01-SD of the Vooodoo 3 drivers. My DirectX has no problems and passed all the tests. Are you guys SURE it is my Voodoo 3 card? Could it be something else? I have the information from DrWatson I can send someone, I have no idea what it means. I just tried rendering a movie again and it crashed after 5 frames instead of 15

    Planescape Torment & The Sims

Hmmm I dunno I defragged my second drive, and had no problems. I'll try my first one though. I'd be surprised if its my HD because I had no problems on 98 doing anything I mentioned above. Must be driver issues

    3DSTudioMax and some games

I was playing Planescape Torment yesterday, and all of a sudden I got a blue screen with "Machine Check Exception" error. I tried again and after about 10 minutes of playing, same error. Then I tried playing the SIMS, and I got about 15 minutes in and same error. I waited a day and tried today, same error after about 25 minutes. I tried rendering a movie in 3DStudioMax R3.0 today too and it kept giving me that error after about 15 frames. Can anyone help? System specs are as follows: P3 550, Soyo SY6-BA MB, 256 megs of RAM, Voodoo 3, SB Live, Adaptec 2940 SCSI-2 Card, Yamaha 6x4x24 CD-RW. I really would love some help. Thanks
