"Critical Update" on winupdate site!!! Very strang

If the Hibenate and Suspend options aren't available on your shutdown, then it's probably because you installed NT4 or Beta W2K Drivers, If you use the Drivers "out of the Box" or Proper Win2k Drivers, then the Options will be there...I have this problem with my Hollywood Plus Decoder Card, so until Sigma Designs Release Proper Win2K Drivers, I'll watch DVDs in Software or win98SE. ------------------ __________________________________________ Celeron 400@450 FIC VB-601 Viper V770 Monster MX300 Fujitsu 17.2GB UDMA-66 Windows 2000 - build 2195 ----------------- FlaSh[VC] ICQ #11831644

    NVidia 3.78

I found out that with the new drivers (3.76 and 3.78) Quake would crash if my r_gamma is higher than 1.0, but at 1.0 Quake is VERY dark on my Monitor, now's my Question...when will NVidia actually have proper gamma facilities in their Win2k drivers...under Win9x the Gamma works great. I tried r_ignorehwgamma 1, but then Quake is still a bit dark, and ugly. Oh Yeah, with the new A3D 3.01 Driver, A3D actually works on w2k, but Crashes Horribly after a while =/ __________________________________________ Celeron 400@450 FIC VB-601 Viper V770 Monster MX300 Fujitsu 17.2GB UDMA-66 Windows 2000 - build 2195

    NEW TNT drivers!! v3.75

    Yay....Finally Got 3.75 to work...NVidia Fixed the Gamma Problem (Q3a) with ver 3.75...But now there's a new one...If your r_gamma is higher than 1 and you do a vid_restart....Win2K Crashes. Hope they'll fix it. ------------------ FlaSh[VC] ICQ #11831644

    NEW TNT drivers!! v3.75

Since the ver 3.69 drivers, any 3D Games I run...blue screens, so I reinstalled 3.66 (which worked fine) and just copied the nvoglnt.dll file from ver 3.75 to c:\winnt\system32 Now my Quake3 and SOF demo works. I just have a slight problem with Q3...a bit Dark...any ideas? I know if you disable hardware gamma (r_ignorehwgamma 1) it's better, but then all the models are very dark again. ------------------ FlaSh[VC] ICQ #11831644
