It's supposed to work fine, and I was using the WDM drivers. In case this problem is 'unsolvable', can you recommend a good, affordable sound card that works fine in Win 2K? Thanks!

I am using an I/O Magicwave PCI soundcard (I believe this uses that Aureal Vortex 1 chip). The drivers are installed and device manager shows no conflicts. Yet, I don't get any sound. It was working fine just an hour before when I was still on Windows 98, and I didn't mess with the speakers or anything. (I have since switched back to W98 until I know how to fix it, and yes, the sound still works fine in W98) Thank you!
