Q3A: "could not load OpenGL subsystem"

Down8- Did you have any luck fixing the problem? This justs recently started happening with me too. I upgraded to the Nvidia 7.17 drivers, noticed the problem and tried to go back to 6.49. The drivers downgraded, but opengl still doesn't work. Any hints would be greatly appreciated. -Matt

    ATI Multimedia Center 7 beta

I'm wondering if anyone else is having the same problem I'm having. I have the ATI AiW 128 with 32MB of RAM. I installed both the beta drivers and the beta MMC. Everything except the TV Viewer functions perfectly. Whenever I try to open the TV display window the Audio turns on fine and I can hear the TV channel through my speakers but the entire OS freezes when the TV Video should be coming on. Nothing I do seems to let me out of this crash, but the TV Audio keeps going. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.

NWE VIA WINDOWS 2000 USB DRIVER IS OUT!!!!!

If your motherboard was made with the VIA chipset and has the onboard USB ports controlled by it up until now when you check your device manager it normally would show "unsupported VIA USB", or something along those lines. This is just a driver to fix that problem.

Though I haven't played it for long Star Wars Force Commander plays fine on my system, AMD k6-2 550, Voodoo2.

    ntoskrnl.exe errors?

Ya know, just a few days ago I first had this problem too. It seems to happen everytime I reboot now. The only thing I've changed recently is the Dell Liveware install. And the Window's Updates. Maybe it's one or the other of these? Any ideas?

    Restart/blue screen Live! fix

Chances are the Creative Drivers won't help you get rid of these two files. If the Dell drivers/liveware can't do it, chances are Creative's won't be able to either. So, sooner or later you'll have to either go into safe mode with Windows Commander and get rid of them or do a complete reformat/reinstall.

    Restart/blue screen Live! fix

Wow, Windows Commander does work. As Distar, who will always be my hero, said, you can't delete the files, but you can move them in Safe Mode. After that, just reboot and install with the Dell Drivers. Works fine now. Thanks so much guys.

    Restart/blue screen Live! fix

I e-mailed JosefTor earlier today with my suggestions for fixing this. I noticed that the only files that cleanup.cmd tries to delete that I can't seem to get rid of are 2 files in C:\WINNT\system32\, they are devcon32.dll and ctmm32.dll. I know that ctmm32.dll is the Creative Technologies Multimedia Mixer, but I have no idea what the other one is. I've tried booting to safe mode and deleting these files, but everything I try...they still seem to be in use by Windows. Let me know if this sounds similar to you.

    LiveWare3 and EasyCD 3.5c patch

Has anyone else had the problem where LiveWare3 runs perfectly in RC3 until you install the patch that allows you to install Adaptec EasyCD 3.5c. After I installed this patch LiveWare won't start up, the Launcher, the AudioHQ, nothing. Any suggests or words of hope? Matthew Christenberry Mattchris@sharpnet.net
