  1. I've bought a Pioneer DVD-ROM DVD-303 SCSI a few days ago. When I first installed it, it has properly been detected by Win2k, drivers were installed, then I installed WinDVD 2000 and I managed to play a DVD with it and my G400 DualHead. Then, I moved some hardwares in my Tower, and when I reboot, problems started to appear. Either win2k wouldn't detect my SCSI burner, eventhough BIOS would, or it would if and only if I added my SCSI HDD. Right now, Win2k detect everything (back to old configuration) but when I try to play a DVD, I get to different error messages: -PowerDVD : error code (don't remember the number) -WinDVD 2000 : play the first part ("Warning") over and over again... If any one can help me, I would appreciate a lot, Thanks, IMoM

    OpenGL drivers for G400 & rc3 ?

I've d/l'ed and installed the new drivers for the G400, and tried some games. Quake3 doesn't work at all, Wheel of Time doesn't work anymore, while it used to run with the old drivers. Do you have any solution, as it seems someone has been able to make them run, with the 2183 built. -IMoM,
  3. Does anyone know if it is possible to install the OpenGL drivers for a G400 graphic cards running with Win2k rc3 ? Thanks in advance. -IMoM

    Win2k and Sound Blaster AWE64

Hi, I also have some problems with the drivers of the PCI 64, and Windows Media Player too. The sound works well for several hours after booting, then suddenly, without any warning, two different things can happen: 1- The sound becomes crappy, WinAmp won't play any mp3 anymore, and even Windows sounds are strange... 2- Windows Media Player stops every two seconds when playing any mpeg or avi, and there is no sound at all. Do you know where I could find better drivers for my sound card ? Thanks, -IMoM,

Age of Empires 2 not working under W2K

Hi everyone, This is my first post on this forum, as I just discovered it, but I have several prblems with my Win2k, and I'm not sure what hard- or software is responsible for them... Anyway, about AoE2, it worfs fine for me for the first 15 minutes of any game, then I start having small problems with the Display of colors... Grass doesn't remain green, but becomes fuzzy, with light and dark green spots together... Same thing happens with the Sea, but in blue, of course. Btw, I have a G400 Dual, and I d/l'ed the drivers from the Matrox web site. If you can help me, thanks, -IMoM, [This message has been edited by IMoM (edited 18 November 1999).]
