I'm running the same build with the lw3 fix and I don't Have that problem.

Have You tried going back to lower cpu seeds.You might be pushing you cpu to close to its limits.

V3 drivers don't support smp

GO into system hardware device manager. click on computer. It Has to say Standard PC also no IRQ steering. I had the same problems your describing before i changed this. [This message has been edited by Death Strike (edited 13 November 1999).]

Seldzar you posted that you had pharoah working in w2k, was that with sound? Anyone else get it to work.

I don't no why the names not right. right clicking on hard drive and doing a search for lw3 popped right up for me. As far as Renaming the file goes the only thing I could Get to work was opening a commmand prompt window And going to setup file and typing rename setup.ex_ setup.exe. Hope this helps.

Do you login as admin at startup? I had to do quite a bit of searching before i found it.

You Know something this really blows goats. The main reason I biult smp machine was Q3.

I would have to agree. I bought the MX300 go look at there web page last update was 2/99 I believe . And that was a Beta the MX300 was my last Diamond Product

Seldaz what did it take to get sound in pharoah. I Haven't had any luck with it. unless rc3 is going to be a lot beter i don't see how ms is going to make there release date.

Well got lw3 to work on my bp6 by following the fix dirrections on this site. But you can't use smp kernal. it"s gotta be switched to standard pc. Switching back after install kills sound, big bummer.
