Still don´t work...

I tried to run Need for speed 5 on a Pentium III with 256mb of RAM and an Matrix G400 under win2k. Result: The game never got past the first loading screen (after the intro video). It hangs there, it eat up ALL memory. In the Task Manager it says that 800+ megs is used. The game runs perfect in win98 on the same machine. Any ideas? Everything appreciated.

Yea, I thougth the DMA could have something to do with it, but I don´t know where to change it. Sorry rbarbier, but in the place you describe I can only change region settings.

I run PowerDVD v2.5 under Windows 2000. I can run movies, but they run bad, slow and the even locks up now and then. Anyone know what the problem is? Install partition magic on some other computer, copy the directory called Dos in your Partition magic dir. This is the only files needed to run Partition magic in dos. Boot your win2k computer on a boot disk and copy the Dos dir somewhere on your harddrive. Now run the file called pqmagic.exe I´ve done this, it worked for me. I have win2k and a voodoo3 2000. I have installed the voodoo3 card just as it says in a readme I found on this page. Quake3 starts and runs for about 20 seconds then throws me out and the gamma in windows gets very bright. Quake2 refuses to run at higher resolutions than 800*600. Anyone have any ideas??? Please help me!
