    Problem with logon...

    the thing is (i think) after you just added the boot manager it did change the order that w2k see your partiontion.... for example it was on drive d: and now it swith on drive c:.... the think you will have to do is to connect to your w2k from a another comptuter and run regedit and connect to the one that is having the prob. and find the key:hklm\system\mounteddevices you will find your assignation for your drive... and change it to what it was.... it should work... (it did that to me just after ghosting it... and trying to boot with both drive...bad thing to do with win w2k...) hope it did help...

    Thank's.... you cut me short on time... i was going to post a message this morning saying the same things i took it apart around 12:30 am and i found out that is was realy ide.... and i did burn about 4 cd with adaptec easycd creator v4 and cdrwin 3.7e and everything is working fine... thank's... hope we will be able to share good thing again

    i am trying to install my external cd-writer under windows 2114 and it seem not to work... maybe it's me.... hope so it use the shurestore adapter for parallel to scsi need more information to make it work... thank's in advance Patrick

    i'am using voice guide and it does the job well on my windows 2000.... you can get it at www.katalina.com.au version 2.6 or version 4 work fine... hope it will help Pat

    DVD & Win2k

    On my system using windows 2000 v2114 i can watch dvd without any problem i have a toshiba dvd decoder card (abouth 2 years old) and still doing the job... windows found it without any prob. and the playback is perfect
