    voodoo3 and quake gamma

Nope, you cannot change the gamma in the game...well it "can" be adjusted but it doesn't have much if any effect on the game. Even with the slider all the way up the game is way to dark. My suggestion is to go into the graphics option and change lighting from Lightmap to Vertex. Although this does not look as good, atleast levels will be brighter. Other than that I guess you have to crank up the brightness control on your monitor. Take care, and goodluck! JrPean P.S. You will also notice that changing the Gamma in your Display Properties in Win2000 will have no effect either...obviously a driver problem here...hopefully there will be a fix soon!

Well I dont have the Win2000 RC1 cd, I received this copy of Windows2000RC2 from a friend. I don't want to go on the net looking for RC1 as it will be next to imposible to find. If anyone here can help me, it would be greatly appreciated...the files I need aren't even that big, if anyone wants to help me please send them to jrpean@hotmail.com thanks alot.

Has Anybody gotten V3 to work in RC2??

Hi, thanks for the reply. I have downloaded that but I dont have Windows2000 Build 2072 cabs for the voodoo3.dll, voodoo3.sys files. I have tried looking for it with no luck. Now if anyone one here has those 2 files and is willing to give them to me, please respond! Thanks again for the response. JrPean
