I never used ACPI so i didnt have any trouble. MPS 1.4 seems to make q3 run better in smp mode..

The new QQ bios now allows me to play Q3 in win2k without any crashes. I use to get a freeze right before the level started up. Now with mps 1.4 it works great.. I still dont use ACPI though..

IT is poor and it pops a lot. hopefully hte new one will give us better sounds.

It is normal to get that many irgq's when you do enable it. I havent tried using both processors to see whether it is stable. Im going to try that. The new QQ bios seems great though. I wonder if i can fill my last pci slot now..

I am using the new QQ mps 1.4 does work with USB without reinstalling your os. On bp6.com i was reading some were having trouble with it but it seems to work great here..

The new drivers turned my screen pink when i first rebootted my computer. I changed color and res and then i changed it back and it was fine. These drivers are fast. Very fast, They work on my bp6 w/dual 561's in smp Q3 but its not any faster its actually slower than smp in some of the older driver revisions. I also got a blue screen when i tried to change my video card speed the first time when it was shutting down.. [This message has been edited by cknyc (edited 29 March 2000).]

I think these drivers are the most stable ones yet. Now whenever q3 crashes because of me trying smp the computer just shuts down q3 and goes into windows.. I dont have any other problems, they seem to be faster also..

No problems here, I never ran a preveus version of liveware though if that means anything to anyone.

Does it work with dual processors. I downloaded it but i think im gonna pass and wait. THe only thing iwant is the 4 speaker support and the dsp settings.

its a 56k winmodem but windows does not have drivers for it that work at 56k so it only runs at 28K. If you guys want a good cheap winmodem that works in win2k try the diamnd supraexpress

Hasnt Us robotics created drivers yet. A friend of mine has this modem and he uses a default 28k drivers from MS.

i have had all kinds of setups fat32, fat16, ntfs, and the linux partition. But i dont remember what its called. Anyway i have never experienced any problems. What does it actually do?

Why cant i B!tch about creative. If i sold a product and charged 100 dollars for each sound card and supported the main os's that people used then i would have written a win2k driver. Myself i cant write drivers thats not my line of work. But at what i do i do it well and take care of my responsibilities. creative doesnt seem to do the job that well. All i am saying is that we waited this long, sucking up the negative feelings that we had for creative because we knew that win2k was just a beta os but now that it is mainstream they dont have an excuse anymore.

Im happy with the way nvidia drivers are flowing. They seem to come out every 2-3 weeks. they usually get better every time. I agree creative should have done somthing since RC1 or even RC3. we should all send them hate mail, give them costomer relations hell..

Creative can blow me> I knew they would do this. I bet they just got some guys workign on this durring hte past week. I bet they thought oh yea win2k is coming out maby we should support it. Fsucking A what are these guys thinking. There are so many companies that came out with drivers and these guys wait until the last minute.
