Abit BP6 USB controller and Win2k

OK, dude. The only info you *didn't* get is my bios version and usb devices. What exactly does my bios version have to do with anything, my usb works in 98. About the devices, why exactly does that matter...if I have nothing plugged in it at all, the controller is still not going to work. ------------------ Jasonian

    Q3 and Win2k questions....

I've got a couple of them. Is there a way to install the 95 drivers for TNT2, the NT drivers blow, no gamma, no control panel to tweek card, slower fps ect. If not, I read on here the nvidia NT5 beta drivers are the best?, where do I find those? If those aren't could someone tell me which ones are the best? If I install the nvidia nt drivers is there a way to install the display panel tweeks too? I have an Abit BP6 and my USB doesn't want to work, I haven't played with it long...but are the drivers for usb on the cd or what? All your help is appreciated guys... ------------------ Jasonian

    NT and Q3 SMP fps?!

I got NT workstation 4.0 running on my dual celeron system last night. I ran some timedemos in quake3 and was very disappointed. With r_smp 1 I get 2-5 fps LOWER than with r_smp 0 in any resolution, any graphics settings. Can someone explain this, reading Firingsquads Dual Celeron benchmarks there fps numbers are quite a bit higher with smp enabled. Am I doing something wrong? I did notice there test system was running service pack 5 and I'm currently running 4, could that make much difference. Other than that I have basically the same system, cel 366's @550...a TNT ultra, and 256mb of Micron pc100 8ns ram. ------------------ Jasonian

    NT 4.0, DX5 & Q3?

After reading about this beta directx5 for NT, I'm wondering if Quake3 will run better or run at all on my pc. I have a Dual 366@605 setup and a TNT2 ultra running nvidia's reference drivers. Any help is appreciated. ------------------ Jasonian
