    Folder tips (Win2000)

But you can add much more browseable folders to your startmenu. Just drag "My Computer" to the Start Menu, now it's expandable! You can create a shortcut to every folder on your Harddisk in the startmenu, and unlike to NT, W9x, its expandable! give it a try! ------------------ hope that helps Oliver have phun and surf.to/comic ----- PIII-450, 128RAM and W2k Prof. Final Version -----

How do I remove the 120 day timebomb?

This is not an answer to the warez request, but it might be usefull for everyone who owns the 120-Day Version and an Upgrade Version of Windows 2000. Upgrading the W2k Eval Version does not remove the timebomb. It you want to remove it go to http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/downloads/default.asp and get the patch from the "Windows 2000 Evaluation Upgrade Utility" Section. This is NOT a way to remove the timebomb without having the right to upgrade to W2k (you have to own a previos Version of Windows) ------------------ hope that helps Oliver have phun and surf.to/comic

    Future of Win2k?

When MS really wants to continue the 16bit OS (Millenium) then it would look like this: It will use twice the ressources W2k does and it will be half as stable as W98. I don't see a future in 16bit OSses.

Your Opinions of Future Windows OS's

I had many problems with NT 4.0 and my dualboard, so i decided to switch to NT5 (yeah NT5, i installed the Beta2 !!!) and to my surprise - my system was stable!!! Since then (that has been for almost a year now) i'm using w2k (i've already upgrade from NT5 Beta 2) and never had a BSOD anymore. I love this OS!!! --------- Oliver have phun and surf.to/comic ------------------ hope that helps Oliver have phun and surf.to/comic

    Comments to W2k

Almost all us us have been using W2k for quite a while now. And the big day is not very far away. Soon W2k final will be in every store. What du you think about? I think it`s the best OS on the market (ok, soon on the market) right now. Will people get exited about it? Will they buy it? Will they like it? What do you think? ------------------ Oliver have phun and surf.to/comic [This message has been edited by Carver (edited 02 February 2000).]

    ****ING INTEL !!!!

what's so bad about Intel??? I don't like the way AMD announced their products. There was a rumor about their new chip for over a year. They announced it, showed pictures (!!! not very useful for benchmarks). Then there have been problems and the delivery was delayed,.... I think they showed a picture of the case not the chip, the chip wasn't even fully developed then. BTW: And the K6 wasn't that fast as they said. ------------------ have phun and surf.to/comic

    System Properties Editor

I tried it, and it worked fine with w2k. It's cool, especially when you setup computers for others (insert support informations the easy way) ------------------ have phun and surf.to/comic
