i just use windows firewall and AVG 8.0 works for me allthough i do get the od adware sneak in but avg soon picks it up

Try it in a different USB slot it works for me as my belkin adapter is set to a certain USB slot if i plug it into a different 1 it wont recognise

Relax i have this problem on numerous games simcity4 ect.... i find the soultuion to be a dirty disc all you do is clean it on a soft shirt or something and reinstall the game it works for me TRY THAT JAMIE!
