as far as i am aware you are sunk. hal is hardware application layer. I beleive if that is screwed then you have to reinstall. i maybe wrong on this but am pretty sure i'm not

the wifi is 802.11g it has only 64bit wep encriptions signal strength is fine ip cofig returns the satic ip (192.168.0.x) dns is set to point to the server 192.168.0.1 the router for web access is 192.168.0.111 only using firewall on the router which gives web access I don't think the web access router is causing any problem as all the machines go through it and its only 3 that are having problems. When you log onto the domain it hangs for 20 minutes at the point where it says "loading your personal settings"

Hi I am pulling my hair out here. I am supporting a school site that has a single windows 2003 server with one network card in it. From there is a router with internet access and a switch connected that runs all over the school. One of the cables has a wireless access point on the end giving access for 2 pc and 1 laptop. My problem is this All the pc's that are wired onto the network logon within a minute or so. The three pc that connect wirelessly take 20 minutes to logon. they all use the same settings fixed ip's dns pointing to the server. please advise as to whats going wrong.
