    Trouble with playing Sims 2

    Hey i'm having weird error in Sims 2. When im opening the neiborhood, it gets very slow and then all the graphics are grey and then crashes. Sometimes it boots by it self some time i have to reset. I had already uninstall and re-install more than 10 times and updated my videocard, soundcard and motherboard, and about 2 years ago i had the sims 2 installed on this computer and the game was working fine.
