I still got this problem even without my anti-virus....I'm really desperate for any help I can get

Thanks for the help, and hopefully I can re-install my anti-virus by tomorrow and see if it runs a scan without freezing my pc. Also when it gets stuck on 93%, it says it's on stage 1 of 3. Does this mean anything?

There's a problem with my pc where it says I have a problem with one of my hard drives and it runs a chkdsk check everytime I turn on my pc. Whilst running chkdsk, it stops at 93% and then stays like that for 5-10 mins and then brings me onto my desktop. Also I have a problem with my anti-virus, could this be the problem?
