i would but i doesnt work. iknow for a fact theres nothing wrong with the actual cd drive i get an error message in the device properties it says somethnig along the lines of device driver may be corrupt or missing, its not the one cd drive though, i have a dvd rom installed and an external cd drive and both of them wont work and say the exact same thing

no mine cant do 640x480 resolution. is there anyway round it or am i doomed to never play C&C and C&C Red Alert ever

well i saw him today and the idiot took it to a computer spe[censored]t. it turned out that his cpu fan was jammed so it was clearly overheating extremely quickly and shutting. i could of fixed that but hes just forked out £100 to get it diagnosed cleaned and fixed? anyone else think hes an idiot coz i do

sorry not quite with you is it cd/then the folders name then after that im not too sure of. i want to delete the whle folder if possible. and when i type DIR it just closes it

thats the prob. he cant boot anything coz it shuts his computer down. and its not a virus coz hes not internet enabled.

well this aint my problem but its a friend of mine. he shut his computer down as normal and apparently when he switched it back on it wouldnt load up properly and gets stuck at the desktop screen with no icons or options. i made the suggestion that it may be a corrupt windows. he said an error message came up depicting about an error in a system, unfortunatly he was very brief so im just guessing theres a problem with system 32. he cant load any files, run cds, nothing. im open to ideas

thats the problem. ive uninstalled limewire coz its just to much hassle and my manafacturer is Time who went bust. not only that but time were very cheeky and made the computer so it cant be upgraded at all. my only hope is t dwnload it via a file but i dont know anywhere that might help

not entirely sure how this went about so sorry about the briefness. my second computer has a cdrw and a dvdrw. i turned it off as normal as any other time and next time i logged on both drives had power but the drives and the computer wernt recognising each other. i keep getting an error message on the properties telling me that either the driver isnt there or is corrupt. ive tried installing drivers for it but none work. and even tried to download the drivers from limewire from the other computer which is the other problem which the forum has closed. so that didnt work either. can anyone help. i need to get this computer fixed by december coz its going to become a present but its not much of a present if i cant get it fixed

im not entirely sure what it is. but i was downloading a file from limewire, and the next time i logged on to the computer i culdnt get into the folder in which the file goes and many other applicatinos are now not working. ive tried 10 different anti virus, antispyware and anything which might kill it but almost all of them crashed and the rest didnt find it. your help would be greatly appreciated
