  1. Aim: To be able to play Redalert on my home network with two (may be three) computers. Problem: When I go into redalert >> network multiplayer option on both of the computers. From each computer, I cannot see the other computer! Question: How can I get the computers to see each other through the game? Steps taken so far: I have set installed Redalert (yes old but gold) in windows XP on both computers using the compatibility option for Windows 95 (under properties of the setup file) . I have also done the same for the RA.exe file so it runs under compatibility for Windows 95. The game runs fine on both computers under XP. I have installed IPX/SPN under (My network places > properties) and setup the network option to 802.2 and network address (just below 802.2) to 00000001 on the first computer and 00000001 to second computer.
