    Problem with USB Flash Disk

I have VIA motherboard with an Intel 845 Chipset running Celeron 2.13Ghz processor and 128MB RAM. I have a Transcend JetFlash USB Flash disk. Whenever I plug it in, it gets detected fine. But whenever I try copying files from it, it seems to freeze. The LED on the drive flashes continuously (like it does during some read/write operation) and the file dosen't get copied. The omly way to stop it is by disconnecting the disk. However, the drive works perfectly on every other computer I have tested it on. (I have tested it on a lot of computers in college running a range of Operating Systems. The machines I tested on heave either 845 or 915 motherboards) What could be the problem?
