  1. Hey, ive got a problem here. Im running Windows XP SP2 and trying to play NFS II SE. I installed it fine but when i go to play it i get up an error "initgraphics - INITMEMMAN REQUIRED BEFORE INITGRAPHICS FILE c:\nfs2se\game\3rash\initgrf.c LINE 44" I read somewhere that setting page file min and max @ 512Mb fixes this problem so the game plays. After trying this the game seems to open (i.e. the screen goes black) and then nothing happens, and i have to close it using windows task manager. Anyone have an idea as to why this doesnt work? And has anyone got a solution?? Thanks!

Need for Speed 2 SE and WIN XP - NFS2 SE

So download and install Application Compatibility Tool 4.1. Run Compatibility Administrator from Start Menu. Go to Custom Database / New Database. Click 'Fix' button. Type the name of the game, vendor, and browse to NFS2SEA.EXE file. If it is not in NFS2SE folder on your hard drive yet, then copy it manually from CD. Click Next, None, Next. Toggle following positions on: - CorrectFilePaths - EmulateGetDiskFreeSpace - GlobalMemoryStatusLie Click Next, Finish. Save your database preferably in game directory. Now click on NFS2SEA.EXE file in the right panel of Compatibility Administrator. Click Run button. The game should start. How do you 'save' the database? When i press run, nothing happens.

Need for Speed II: SE problem with Windows XP

I downloaded DGVoodoo but it doesn't seem to do anything. After running the setup NFS II SE won't even autorun, the autorun box with "play" uninstall" etc. doens't even open. Tried changing a few settings in DGVoodoo but to no avail, it won't work

Need for Speed 2 SE and WIN XP - NFS2 SE

I kinda followed this solution, but i never downloaded the compatibility program. Instead i just copied the nfs2sea.exe file from the CD to the folder and put it in win95 compatibility mode. It lets the game open fine, but it lags when i actually race. Basically everything takes 2x as long because it pauses for about 1/10th of a second every 1/5th of a second. Anyone know of an easy fix for this?? Thx

    Mechwarrior 3 flying mech

On the 1st training mission (i only just got it to work), i was playing about with the jumpjets while going to the last checkpoint. as i landed i pressed the button for jumpjets (exactly as my mechs feet hit the floor) and it flew, like 200 feet into the air. I am now stuck as i have no jumpjet power left (it doesn't recharge anymore) all i can do is turn left and right as my mech is floating at a constant approx. 30 mph (the speedometer says i am doing 0mph). If you don't believe me, check out these screenshots. I haven't used cheats, hacks or image editing software. lol i hav no idea what is going on =P http://img367.imageshack.us/my.php?image=mechflying16zl.png (this one you can just about see the lighthouse at the bottom) http://img70.imageshack.us/my.php?image=mechflying24fn.png (this one you can see my shadow in the bottom left) http://img295.imageshack.us/my.php?image=mechflying37rx.png

    Mechwarrior 3 flying mech

Also i found out that this can happen to other computer controlled mechs. in instant action a random enemy mech started flying and in the 4th training mission, the APC you have to kill started to bounce crazily 400m into the air. it happens when u walk off of a small sheer cliff of hill, it just flys. =P what is going on????
