Problem: Homefree Network and Window XP????

Check your configuration: Physical (on every machine): * install identical protocol driver, for example TCP/IP * choose only minimal different ip's (192.168.000.00x, number x must differ on every machine) * identical subnetmask (255.255.255.000) * NO! internet firewall for this connection * NO! DNS server for this connection Logical (on every machine): * different computer names * identical workgroup * identical computer description, MUST be 'MYNETWORK' * specify a drive to share, for example C:\ (accept 'easy share' without assistent) Probe the connection by pressing key 'F5' several times while viewing the 'network folder'. Check the task bar icon and box of the wlan connection. If 'packets send'was counted up, but 'packets received' wasn't, your physical settings are incorrect (wrong protocol etc.). If 'packets send' was counted up, and 'packets received' too, your physical settings are correct, but logical settings differ. Find nodes via windows 'SEARCH' using the exact name of the machine you look for. If you still can not find any, your share settings are wrong or the firewall ist activated for this connection.
