All of my mpeg files created by ATI Radeon TV recorder produces the error window "Visual C++ Runtime Error!" when I try to open them, and shuts down whichever program I'm trying to open them with. There are 8 mpeg files affected, in 2 different folders, that vary in age from 2 months old to 2 days old. I played the older ones last week and they were fine. The problem started 2 days ago, immediately after creating the last 2 mpegs, which I have not been able to play, nor have I been able to play the older ones since.
I've re-booted, restored settings to 1 week prior to problem, I've un-installed ATI and upgraded to more recent version...problem still persists. Even selecting (without opening) files in Windows Explorer creates an error and shuts down explorer.
Any ideas???
