  1. This an old post but I belive this is still an issue. As far as I know the broadcom wifi card does NOT use the atheos chip. Broadcom has their own chip. So the madwifi driver is not compatible. Driver that I have found are http://ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net/ and http://www.linuxant.com/driverloader/
